Designated agent for copyright notices
Send your notice by email to our designated agent:
- Agent
- Alcove — Copyright Agent
- dmca@alcove.fi
What your notice must include
To be valid under §512(c)(3), a notice needs all of the following. Sending a notice is a legal action — knowingly material misrepresentations may result in liability under §512(f).
- 1Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- 2Identification of the copyrighted work you own or represent — title, author, and where it is published.
- 3Identification of the material you believe infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it (a link is best).
- 4Your physical or electronic signature — typing your full legal name is enough.
Plus both sworn statements
“I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
“The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
Counter-notifications
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification under §512(g) to dmca@alcove.fi. Include the affected material, your contact information, and the sworn statements §512(g) requires.
