Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Alcove. Some mature content settings require you to confirm that you are an adult.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You own the cartridges, save files, and chapters you create. You grant Alcove only the limited license needed to store, process, and display your content back to you so we can provide the service — for example, generating chapters and route suggestions at your direction. Where you choose to publish a cartridge page, you grant the license needed to show that public page.

The app proposes; you steer. Nothing becomes part of your canon until you review and lock it.

Alcove generates text with AI at your direction. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected; you are responsible for reviewing what you lock into canon and publish. We make no guarantee that generated content is original to you alone or free of similarity to other works.

Alcove permits mature themes but not sexually explicit content, and prohibits content that is illegal, that sexualizes minors, that infringes others’ rights, or that is used to harass or harm. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its safety systems.

You are responsible for the rights to any material you import. If you believe content on Alcove infringes your copyright, use our DMCA & Copyright process. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Some features run on subscriptions and credits. Prices and what credits cover are shown in the app; paid amounts are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plans or pricing prospectively with notice.

Alcove is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alcove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of content beyond the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. Always keep your own exported copies of work that matters to you.

You may stop using Alcove and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & data. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
