Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Alcove.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You own the trip repositories you host on GitHub and the traveler (subject) memory you store in Alcove. You grant Alcove only the limited license needed to store, process, and display that Alcove-hosted content back to you, and to leave review comments on pull requests through the GitHub App you install.

Agents may propose. Alcove may review. Only you merge changes into your trip’s default branch. Alcove does not auto-merge.

Alcove uses AI systems to adversarially review pull requests and to propose postmortem lessons. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. You are responsible for deciding what to merge on GitHub and which lessons to approve into subject memory. We make no guarantee that review comments or proposed lessons are complete or free of error.

Do not use Alcove for illegal activity, to harass or harm others, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service. Do not commit secrets (passwords, passport numbers, confirmation codes, card data) into trip repositories you connect for review.

GitHub’s terms apply to repositories you connect. You are responsible for the rights to any material in those repositories and for complying with GitHub’s policies. If you believe content hosted by Alcove (for example on the marketing site or in Alcove-hosted memory exports) infringes your copyright, use our DMCA & Copyright process. We may remove Alcove-hosted content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Some features run on subscriptions and metered usage billed in dollars: each plan includes a monthly usage allowance for hosted review work, and any further usage is prepaid through auto top-up charges you enable and cap yourself. Prices and what usage covers are shown in the dashboard; paid amounts are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plans or pricing prospectively with notice.

Paid plans include a monthly allowance of hosted review work (and related AI cost). That inclusion is subject to the plan catalog shown in the dashboard. As of the date above, included monthly review allowances are:

• Free: approximately $10 of included review usage per month (about 40 review runs at $0.25 each).
• Pro: approximately $25 of included review usage per month per active seat (about 100 review runs at $0.25 each).
• Enterprise: approximately $100 of included review usage per month per active seat (about 400 review runs at $0.25 each).

When included usage is exhausted, metered runs pause unless you enable overage under a spending limit you control. Automated, scripted, or abusive use may result in throttling or account action under Acceptable use.

We may adjust included allowances as costs or abuse patterns change, with notice where required. Current figures are also shown in the dashboard.

Alcove is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alcove is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of content beyond the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months. Always keep your own copies of trip repositories and exports that matter to you. Alcove is not a substitute for travel insurance, visas, or on-the-ground judgment.

You may stop using Alcove and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Uninstalling the GitHub App stops review access to your repositories.
